3. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, IONOS processes the technically required data on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Server log files
Each time the website is accessed, the following data is automatically stored in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. The data is used to deliver the website, analyse errors and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are stored for a limited period and then deleted. The data is not combined with other data sources.

This website is transmitted in encrypted form. You can recognise this by “https://” in your browser's address bar.

We only use one technically necessary cookie:
- cookieyes-consent: stores your choice in the cookie notice, retention period up to one year.
The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We provide the cookie notice with the WordPress plugin CookieYes, which runs on our own server. Your choice is logged as proof (Art. 7(1) GDPR) with a timestamp and a pseudonymous identifier. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
7. Contact form and email
If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (name, company, email address, selected topic and your message) in order to answer your enquiry. The form details are sent to us by email and are not stored in a database on the website. To protect against spam we use a hidden check field and an arithmetic question; no data is transferred to third parties in the process.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is aimed at a contract or its initiation, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete your data once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply, for example for commercial and business letters under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO.
8. Applications
We process applications that you send us by email in order to carry out the application process (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 88 GDPR). If no employment relationship results, we delete your documents no later than six months after the end of the process, unless you have consented to longer storage.
